So, there I was, parking my car this morning in the car park, when what should I see? Oh my - yes, it's true, sad, very sad, but true. Some idiot, and I did see her, had purchased not one, but two of those beautiful American flags that fly from the car window. One for each side of the car. I do wonder if she thought to see where they were made? China? Maybe, just thought it was stupid and I would share.
Now- I just came from lunch. More stupidity for you to enjoy. While I sat eating with my buddy, a little kid came running past and fell down. Pretty hard, no tears, but just the same. Kids running in a restaurant. Not a good idea. I thought about it for just one second, where are the parents of this rug rat? Sure enough, Mom comes waddling over, very pregnant in deed, to help out little Johnny. Like this was a good idea - Can't handle one, so let's have a second. Smart move there. Enjoy.

It has been awhile...
My last post was for Moxie and it was so very long ago. What have I bitched about since then, you may ask? Not much. I have tried to stay positive and not focus on much outside or around me. With that said, we just had a major holiday here and I wanted to share with you some of the things I read and saw that may have bothered me.
Here we go...
1. I read an article in the Sunday parade about a young marine that was killed in Iraq. What the fuck? Why oh why do we still have soldiers in Iraq? I just don't get it. I have to admit that it made my eyes fill with tears to read about this young man and what he did for his fellow soldiers. He had so much to offer the world, but this is all he will be remembered for? What the fuck I say.
2. Why is it with Americans being so fat, we still have fast food restaurants opening in every town? WTF? Why doesn't the insurance companies charge higher premiums for fatty mcphattie pants?
3. Where I live, you can drive and use your cell phone. There is a law about it, but the cops can't pull you over for it. At least not yet. So who do I see driving and talking? That's right - Mr. Piggly-Wiggly himself. Almost caused an accident too!
4. Why is it that just anyone can go off and breed without a permit or having to take a test? For fuck's sake! Even the idiots have to take a drivers test to get a license, but they let any asshole with a cock AND and bitch with a working cunt procreate. What the FUCK! We need to put a stop to this shit and soon.

So, let's see where we stand on this one - Drilling for oil in the Alaskan nature preserve? Let's start with the title here, "PRESERVE" what the fuck do you think that means? Apparently to congress and the idiot in charge of both Alaska and the country as a whole seem to think that it means open territory to drill for oil. Forget about removing our dependency on oil. I can not stand the stupidity that runs rampant and unchecked in our government. I admit, I drive a nice foreign car that doesn't get great gas mileage, I drive 2 miles to work each way. Some time ago, my friend MoxieGrrrl blogged a bit about the government and the lack of support of its veterans. I was so pissed to read about it, because it rang true, that I just couldn't put two thoughts together that would have made much sense to anyone. Time passes and anger is allowed to stew and you can put your thoughts together in a much more cohesive manner.
First, let me explain about the February 18th blog so you have a better understanding; Moxie had excerpts from a Salon article. The recent political war with the Middle East has created a renewed frenzy of disabled veterans that now are being released back into our society with little or no support from the government that they pledged to defend. It went on to specify about a soldier who suffered from PTSD and hung himself and was found five days later! What the fuck?
Over 11,000 soldiers have been wounded sine the inception of this fucking stink ass shit of a war has started. In the area of 1500 military dead as of 02.28.05 from the start of the war in 03.03. I didn't bother looking up the number of dead civilians in Iraq. To be honest, this blog is not about them. I really don't care about them, if we don't kill them, they will kill themselves. Whatever, I digress.
11,000 wounded soldiers. 11,000 wounded soldiers. Say it again. I said say it again fuckwad! These people don't get to die. Those that died paid the price and I have sympathy for them and their families. But 11,000 soldiers get to go home and try to fit back into society. These people get to try and do the things they did before the war. Try to pretend that they can...
We are not talking about the greatest generation; we are talking about my generation. This is not my grandfather’s kind of war; we are not saving the world from what was considered evil at the time. No, we are committing war crimes by invading a country with no respect to the rest of the world. Sounds like a Hitler kind of move if you're asking me. These soldiers today, some of which signed up to defend these borders with the National Guard a re now patrolling the dessert in a country that doesn't want us there, didn't need us there and wants us out. The National fucking Guard! I wonder how well our borders are defended right now.
I AM a disabled veteran. I paid my dues. I get the right to fucking rant about the treatment of our wounded soldiers. I AM ONE OF THEM! Fuck all of you that won't listen. I don't give a shit about you or your fucking whining little family and all the other fucks that haven't paid the price. The government gives me a check every month for the rest of my life for the price I paid. A measly amount if you ask me. I get a raise from that each year in accordance with the federal government’s cost of living. This year? Yeah it went up. 2 dollars. Yup, you read it right assholes; I got a raise of two whole fucking dollars more than last year. Did you know that the senate and congress get an automatic pay raise each year? Yup and they have to vote to deny it. Guess how much? Just guess, you fucking pieces of shit? Think it went up more than 2 dollars? You bet your fucking ass it did! It went up 7.76 percent of the current pay. Now that varies with the number of years of service of each person. Think I got a raise that much? Nope. My raise was just at 2 percent. You do the math - if you can, idiot! Think the soldiers got a raise of 7+ percent? Nope, wrong again assholes! 2 percent, think that will help the current soldiers in action? How about the wounded that are now back in the work force? I didn't think so either. Finally getting my point?
I will conclude with the obvious, our government is full of liars, cheaters, criminals, and complete idiots! It is lead by the chief monkey who sits around smelling the shit on his finger while the rest of his clown troupe laughs and follows blindly. You may be asking yourself right now what the hell I am doing to try and change all this? Well, since I worship the almighty dollar and the greed god alone, I am forced to continue working in the mindless dull drums of corporate culture. One insight, at least it is a not-for-profit company. I donate money and am a member of the DAV (Disabled American Veterans), but I can not quit my job and work for food to try and help my new found brothers and sisters of the disabled veterans group. I also feel as if I have that certain sound within my voice that could lead my fellow Americans in an uprising to try and save this great country. But my fellow Americans all worship the green greed god as well, so they are deaf to the cries of crisis that now fall amongst us. We would rather sit and bitch about the government then actually get up and do something about it. Those that do get labeled as anti American or terrorists because of the great and all encompassing 'Patriot Act'. I love this country to the point that I would defend her against all others, even today, in the face of our borders being attacked. I would. I would bare arms and defend my fellow Americans, no matter how disgusted I am with the government. I would also bare arms against my fellow Americans if I felt that my rights set up by the founding fathers of this country were being trampled on.
I have to go now. Think. Just think. I don't ask for the world, just your thoughts and that you think before you speak. Think.

Scares me if these people get as bad as those people.

So Condi Rice pulled it off! - Got herself into the position that she desperately wanted. Now I don't speak idiot, so I find this whole thing rather disturbing. I am a registered Independent. I think some things Red and some things Blue. I pray to the green god that changes depending on the denomination. But I just can't believe that this country can be headed in a positive direction as long as we allow idiots and assholes the opportunity to "lead" us as a nation.

Last - Did you know that Arizona green tea that states "All natural", but when you read the ingrediants the 2nd or 3rd thing is high fructose corn syrup! WTF!? Last time I checked I can't go outside and get HFCS from nature. It has to be created. Natural? My ass!

So what's the f 'in deal with the media trying to scare the hell out of the general population with an OTC drug that now can kill you?
